The Science Behind It
Understanding LSB (Least Significant Bit) Steganography

How Data is Hidden

Each pixel in an image has RGB values (0-255). By modifying the least significant bit (the last binary digit) of these values, we can hide 3 bits of data per pixel without visibly changing the image.

Example

Original Pixel: RGB(150, 200, 100)
Binary: 10010110 11001000 01100100
Hidden Bits: 1 0 1
Modified Pixel: RGB(151, 200, 101)
Binary: 10010111 11001000 01100101

The human eye can't detect changes of ±1 in RGB values, making this technique perfect for hiding data in plain sight.
